MENTALPRECISION

The MENTALPRECISION project is funded by the European Research Council under a Consolidator Grant. The project aims to develop analytical methodology to link neuroimaging derived biomarkers with quantiatitive behavioural readouts derived from ecological smartphone monitoring. We aim to develop a suite of next-generation statistical tools having the high level goals:

  1. Chart biological variation across population-scale neuroimaging datasets,
  2. Stratify clinical conditions according to latent biological risk in a way that accommodates the convergence of distinct pathophysiological mechanisms on the same symptoms
  3. Understand latent dynamics in quantitative, moment-to-moment measures of behaviour derived from digital phenotyping and
  4. Integrate biological and behavioural measures using multi-modal data fusion.

Project Structure

Workpackage 1: Develop next generation tools and statistical models for normative modelling of biological risk

Workpackage 2: Predict individualised trajectories of behaviour using smartphone-based digital phenotyping

Workpackage 3: Clinical validation: predicting risk and resilience in mood disorders
